Photography Protest - Trafalgar Square
Photographers stage a protest in London's Trafalgar Square over the extensive, illegal and intrusive stop and search powers given to the Police. Under the infamous "anti-terror" laws any officer in London can arrest a photographer and "confiscate" their equipment including the digital files and physical media. It is a legal right in the UK to photograph in public places, that is either people in the places or the places themselves and if you intend on doing so I suggest a visit to http://photographernotaterrorist.org/ and taking at look at the bust card.

Yes London needs to be protected, but is a photographer laden with gear, making himself quite blatant and probably engaging with the public really a threat? Or is it the 3 men walking about the tube filming and talking to themselves... (Link)

Any experiences? Comment me
